Hello Jim! 80 looks with not one single comment for this wonderful and special ice cold blue hour shot? What is wrong with this website, is it only hugging each other and this is it, hunting points? I find this photo attractive, I find it special ... especially the snow covered mountain in the far back within all the blue. Tiny things and yet it needs just a little time to find these treasures. Best regards + happy weekend, Barbara.

Hi Jim. You got lucky! Mount Taranaki only rarely shows itself. Nice colours. Well chosen POV and nicely balanced compo also. Thanks for sharing.
Have a good week, Paul.

Hi Jim, I won;t tell you my first words when I saw this shot - they're too rude for TE :) But my second word was OOOOOOHHH! That's a great shot. The Blue Hour is unique in that it's more a "ming-blue hour". I love the DOF and the peak in the BG between the 2 rock formations is just the icing on the cake. Congratulations Jim and warm regards from dusty ole Sydney. Cheers, Lisa.

Hi Jim,
I almost missed this image since it is not as attractive as your other ones, this ice cold blue hurts the eye, but it is excellently composed. The other impressions you have captured that day are more fascinating. This one is nevertheless quite singular! TFS!
Warm regards

Hello Jim,
My eyes go straight to that snow-capped summit in the back, nicely framed as it is by the rocks!
The wet sand leads nicely up to the twins, and the blue hues lend a special atmosphere to the scene...
Greetings,

Hello Jim
Like Barbara, I am appalled! 485 views, 6 critiques...but then why blame this website alone..happens everywhere, backpatting, meaningless crtqs (none more than in flicr though) and all that is missed out is a quality photo from a quality photographer, who is all, but a bit quiet. The blue is so coool (I hate this word though) and the rock on the left with the first light striking on it contrasts well, but my eyes go straight onto the Mt Tarananki...what a sight!
Best,
Angshu
PS :pls don't bother to return the crtq..I am beyond all this now and my apologies for not visiting your slowly growing gallery sooner
