HI Kari,
Nice NZ beach scene.
I like your composition.
The tree debris in the foreground add interest to the shot.
Well done.
:)

Hello Kari,

a very authentic NZ picture. Looks very clean and natural- TFS.

;-) Thomas

This is very nice, Kari - I love the sense of space and the natural colours. The curves of the shoreline and the branches in the foreground add nice depth to the shot, and the green hillside is a nice contrast with the paler colours. Well done.

Beautiful compositiom Kari, perfect balanced and optimal POV.. the tree in foreground gives to it the final touch!!
Ciao, Fabio.

hi kari,
the three makes the pic, the sand looks very beautiful and the reflection of the clouds as well.
regards

That piece of driftwood on the beach makes this photo. It's positioned well inthe frame ot add interest but not disturb the "flow" of the picture, from foreground to distance.

The sense of complete isolation is well reflected here.

Nice shot. As mentioned, the driftwood makes brings interest, but I also like the diagonal across the scene from the shore through the hillside. It creates nice symmetry.

What a beautiful landscape! I love the sand color!

great composition and POV.
The wave line adds softness and elegance.
Good shot!

Great shot Kari! I just want to jump in and walk along that beach! Composition is very good, you used the tree well to give foreground interest. Nice colour too. Well done!

Excellent composition Kari!
I have to agree with others that this is a very well caught and typical NZ scene.
I like the composition of the sky and the beach being diagonally intercrossed by the sea and the vegetation, all adds to a well balanced photo. Yes, the driftwood certainly helps with the DOF, and adds a nice close-up subject which seems to highlight the sparsity you mention in your note.
Very well done!
Steve

Very good photo

Hi Kari
Good shot - good note! I like the low POV of this shot, you convey a strong sense of the emptiness of this area. I used to live nearby and it really did feel like the end of the world sometimes!
