Hi Patricia, A good shot to capture the gull following your ferry. I like the beautiful view of the coastline through the handrail. This picture would be more attractive if the upper frame is not there, as I think.

Good capture of the gulls Pat; I see one even has the temerity to come on board. I like the inclusion of the other passenger also enjoying the view.

I like the way birds are confronting that woman, especially the one which is so low.
Sharpness could be better, but I guess it's due to the low camera quality.

I quite share your liking for ferries, specially with a nice day and beautiful landscaoe as was your case in New Zealand.

Hi Patricia. It's funny that I posted the ferry today and here I read that you love ferries so much. Thanks for the critique too. Technically everything is dandy but I do see an image quality drop-off from your D70, which I guess is a good thing since you spent all of that money! ;) Well done Patricia.

Hi Pat, Classic capture of the Marlborough Sounds, a lovely place when the weather is good like this, you were blessed. Wellington's weather is often cool and windy but across the strait, another world. Good to see this from a ferry. Very interesting, many years since i was in this part of the world. IMO NZ will come into its own 50-100 years from now, when many other places are just too crowded and developed. Murray.
