the landsape and the colours are great, the speedboat made some damage on a fantastic landscape photo, In my eyes it was nicer without the boat but thats personal, farther good photojob, have a nice day.

Renier the mountains in the background are aesome. I love the rugged nature of the ridge. The setting of this lake is beautiful. You caught this scene very well. The colours are nicely saturated andthe sharpness create fine details. Thanks for sharing :-)

Hello Renier,
I have been on this boat! It went up the shotover river and into other sections of Lake Wakatipu. It was a fantastic ride, I had stacks of fun on it. Great variety of colours here, I adore the gold/blue contrast. The deeply grooved slopes of the Remarkables looks very fearsome in the shadow cast lighting. Great clarity and saturation - the water relection benefits from this. I have been to Queenstown several times, even in summer and not seen them without snow. Low snow season so far, or has it not yet begun, June will see in the decent falls I would think?

Wow, beautiful New Zealand. I did not go to Queenstown at all. From Mount Cook I turned to Wanaka and the west coast. Is that boat one of those speed boats doing the river acrobats and getting everybody on board wet? I have done it in the North Island, at Huka Falls in Waitako River. It is a thrilling/unbelieving experience. Well done.

I know exactly the bridge where this photo was taken from, the Remakables in the background are impresive and colors are very nice balanced too. I like this photo a lot!

Hi Renier,
what a landscape. Just a dream, the autumn colours in your clear composition create a very deep impression. Wonderful DOF and contrasts and the boat moving on the water is marvelous.
I don't know why, maybe by the long curve of the bank, but I think there is a small tilt.

Hi Renier,
This is a stunning landscape!
I'm very impressed with the colour saturation used here, the autumn colours got on the mountain at right are so vivids and makes a great contrast with the rest of the picture.
The small sppedboat and the whites that it produces puts the colour accent to the image.
I think that the composition made is pretty good and well balanced.

Very beautiful landscape. I like your saturation & colors of autumn ... always unsure of the seasonal calender in the southern hemisphere. Well balanced composition with water & slope on the foreground & majestic mountain in the back. I like the sprinkle of autumn orange in the distant foothill. The boat is well placed but it doesn't really matter with or without it - the landscape & composition speaks for itself. Regards. Latiff.

Beautiful autumn scenery, Renier - a reminder to us all on the top half of the world that you are going into winter 'down under'. The clear air has helped to give great depth and detail to your landscape, and the sharpness of the mountains in the background is excellent (I think you have pushed your sharpening to the limit, given that there is a very slight sugggestion of a sharpening halo starting to appear on the ridge on the right, but it's only noticeable on a good monitor, so I think you get away with it). I was interested to read some of the reservations that other critiquers had about the jet boat, but I like it in the composition - it adds scale and dynamism. Cheers . . . David
