Hey,
A nice landscape shot of the region. The shape of the mountains, the dry long grass, and the tall pointed evergreen trees add interest and atmosphere to the scene.

Hi Renier,

Too bad there is very little water visible, but the image is still very nice. The dry grass and the mountains make for a nice landscape. The soft colours of the day and the sharpness also add to the overall quality of this image. Good angle and framing. Thanks Renier.

A fine study in tones and textures. Good use of a low viewpoint and perfect sharpness throughout. I feel as if I am about to wade into that reed bed. A lovely blend of subtle tones. Very well seen and executed.

Hi Renier,
a frozen atmosphere even without ice, nature is in its long sleep. A pleasant (even cold) landscape capture with good DOF and colours. I like that small shadow in front.

Those 'blonde' grasses on the fg are attractive and adorn the scenic lake vista. Good sharpness and dof, the distant mountains and blue sky are well featured. Stay warm. I keep forgetting our seasons are reversed. Regards, Danilo

Winter in New Sealand, than is the summer in Belgium, this is a fact.
But you show us a nice winter image with the long grass in foreground with a fine gold colour.
Also the silhouette od the mountains in background gives a attractive picture.

Hi Renier,

I saw with the television news that it even snowed in Sydney. Astonishing these landscapes by winter in July whereas here on Versailles on my terrace it makes 35° with the sun !!! Beautiful photograph on this wild landscape, I like much all these nuances of colors in the vegetation. The panoramic format is appropriate very well. Thank you Renier.

You make my life difficult, I had to make a quick side-step to visit TE, because I already hoped to find the coloured version of the picture and indeed I did.
Of course it is all personal taste, but this one does it for me, wonderful natural colours, a joy to see.
