URBAN REFLECTIONS IN THE CITY OF BUENOS AIRES !

With this picture, I go on with my series here at TE, showing some landmarks of BUENOS AIRES, the ARGENTINA'S CAPITAL CITY and the SECOND largest city in SOUTH AMERICA, considered a mix of several european cities (Madrid, London and Paris)!

Although the city has faced many economical crisis in the last decades with obvious decay of life quality in many aspects - today one can find homeless people, beggars, dirt, a certain violence in the streets and slums in its outskirts - the good spirit of the city still remains: Fun at night, with lots of people going out around midnight and going back home with sunlight still exists! Wonderful buildings and monuments are still all over the place!!!

Here, some urban reflections in the modern part of the city.

Hi Neyvan,
A lovely presentation and good layout. It is interesting to note that even this reflections cannot escape the sharp eyes of a photographer. It just showed how sensitive you are to your surroundings. I also love the meticulous division of shapes and space while the tones provided good depth to this 2D surfaces. Rightly spotted!!

Good reflections and I like the image graphism, the visual effect is beautiful. But the distorted reflection makes this even more attractive.

I think you captured this shot in Puerto Madero.
I was in Buenos Aires a couèle of months ago and I was not that impressed by this city.
I only liked La Boca (but it was so small) and San Telmo. the rest was not that impressive...

Hello Neyvan,

A good minimalist shot with excellent sharpness, color & superb reflections in the shiny skyscrapers. Good colour & tight framing with no part of the screen wasted. I like the color combo of blue, white grey & black, with just a hint in the reflected building under construction at right. Tfs!
