Photographer's Note
The Perito Moreno glacier, located in the Los Glaciares National Park, Santa Cruz Province, is one of the most spectacular attraction of the Argentinian Patagonia. The front of the glacier is about 5 km wide and is about 70 meters above the sea level. Sound of ice cascades continuously interrupts the silence but when the thrust of the glacier becomes too strong huge iceslides fall down to the sea producing impressive roars. Depending on the speed of the glacier advance, it is estimated that the present ice wall was produced about 2000 years ago.

Buona giornata,Luciano

Ciao Roberto
Good sharpness, with the cyan tints in the ice adding interesting color to the fractured wall of white. The small sprig of leaves at left let us know this was taken from a lookout and not an aircraft. Tfs!

A very nice composition, with beautiful light and beautiful colours. Very sharp and I like the blue tone of the sharpness of the picture. TSF
