Photographer's Note

The Buenos Aires subway system is a feast for the eyes, at least in many of its central stations. Murals and artwork abound, and in the older stations some beautiful architecture as well.

This shot was taken inside the Diagonal Norte stop, a major hub connecting the B, C and D lines, and located quite near the obelisk in Buenos Aires' Plaza de la Republica, along the wide Avenida 9 de Julio. The woman in this shot arrived immediately after a departing train and so was more or less alone on the platform, at the end of a long mural depicting Spanish landscapes.

The border was added in order to get the height to the minimum 250 pixels.

Update, 9/15/2012: Added larger panorama, 1773x500.
