Photographer’s Note

Paquetá is an island (and also a district of Rio de Janeiro City), located in Guanabara Bay.

Paqueta Island, or “the island of many shells”, is accessible from downtown Rio de Janeiro by ferry. And once you get there, travel is limited to bicycles and horse-drawn charretes. (car-free place).

Another nickname for Paqueta is the “Island of Love".

Gosto da superfície da água, ao aspeto tornado muito metálico, pelo céu, e os reflexos de cerca de embarcações harmoniosamente dispostas e colorés. É umas umas bonitas lugares que descrevem bem muito a nota e a fotografia. É visto bem e posto bem em imagem. Passa uma boa noite.

une très bonne construction d'image basée sur des couleurs fort dénaturées et de jolis reflets de ce ciel chargé. L'esthétique générale est séduisante et l'ambiance très calme.

This is a good seaside landscape!
The heavy clouds add drama that is enhanced by the dark reflection, the water is calm like waiting for the storm...

me gusta el dominante de tonos grises y plateados en el agua y en el cielo, y cómo los tonos del pequeño puerto, de las palmeras y los barcos rompen esta monocromía.

This nice place looks more like a resort rather than a part of so big city as Rio de Janeiro. In addition the beauty of the place is underlined by very good composition with the boats, tropical vegetation, so high and nicely clouded sky and its reflection in the water. Excellent picture!

cara, gostei bastante do efeito cromático que você estabeleceu aqui. O céu carregado ajudou bastante nesse sentido, mas devo dizer que o trabalho de pós-processamento foi de mestre para tal resultado. Muito bonito visual!
