Photographer's Note
that´s what is written in the bus window (5318 - Chácara Santana)
she was sleeping in a very hot afternoon.
i had plenty of time to grab my cam from the bag, turn flash off and shoot. i took one single shot, and as soon as i put the cam back in the bag she opened her eyes and looked at me. i was already reading a book.
i didn´t look to the viewfinder though, but i still have the feeling i was stealing something.
oh, yes, she reminds me this dancer Gal once portrayed so beautifully.
thanks beforehand for taking your time to view/comment it.
pp: cropped slightly, turned to lab color and played with levels/curves. added a frame. voilà.

Oh gee, Isabelle, I jsut opened TE, which I should not do, but I can't stay away sometimes, and then I see this picture, which somehow evokes so much with me immediately, that I can't let go by.
This is such a beautiful shot, Isabel, the light, her pose, the tone of her skin, the bolt scraped text, the harsh white. It's a real beauty, Isabel, thanks

Very well seen Isabel, me gusta mucho esta foto, la inclinación que has dado a la composición da más fuerza al resultado. Espero que entiendas mi español (me encantaría escribir en portugués pero desgraciadamente no sé). Obrigado.

Original POV. Good composition and DOF. That diagonal of the the window is very well caught. Well done

I livke this image Isabel.. what's nice is that I really can feel the "hot" weather .. The way you decided to shoot it form underneath is also nice. the siggn "brisa" makes it work.. The only thing bothering me, but i must be the only one to think like that, is the square format.. I am too used to the 24X36, more my vision of the world.
Still a very nice image.

Unlike Claude, I love the square format and it works beautifully in this shot. I love the tilt, I love the red background with the pink shirt and I love the light. Congradulations !

O momento é mágico. Uma doce brisa que passa como uma carícia na face adormecida. Linda.

I like the way you've chosen the angle here, to be in line with her leg, but leaving the bus at about 20 degrees. I think it's the framing that makes the shot here, well, you're the master of the angled shot.

very nice, i much prefer this to your first two fashion shots: more feeling to this. The background really feeds into the shot, with the sleeping (model?) positioned such that the angles work well with the bg.
Is brisa her name? is this her life? very good shot.

Good use of backgound light, I guess. Human skin outlines comes so beautifully there. But most I like this (I do not know, was it just impulse or feeling when you edited this or thoughtfull purpose) is, that her body forms framing part of this artwork. Fantastic ! - I`m just beginner and you gave me good tip here. In open area you have just unsharp lines, text as background and opposite effect for your "portrait". She obviously needed fresh air and you gave space for it :) Thank you very much of this experience, and good example shot, Isabel.

Lovely & beautiful candid shot, Isabel. So this is what you see when you ride to work ? ;-) The low PoV works wonders here and I simply love the way the jaw- & cheek of the woman are captured here due to the canted position of her head. The compostion is fine due to again (I just rated Curtis's pic) the leading diagonal leaving the left corner above and the lettering is a fine bonus.

Artistic very good compo. The details, the light, the 'posing' all well placed and working together in the chosed tilt. Yes Isabel, probably a little 'theft' - but then in good heart and spirit...

Beautiful composition. The angle of her profile is so elegant and sad simultaneously.

Yes, perhaps you has stolen something.
But perhaps all the people when makes a photo steals a little moment (the difference could be that here she doesn't know nothing).
But is a nice shot with a nice subject: a young woman sleeping in the train... Really, after think in this, you has really stole something to the girl (poor girl, she only was sleeping).

Hi Isabel
A splendid shot. We see that scene everyday, but have no camera or don't dare to take it. Yo've done it. Ver low POV to include the advertissement in the back, natural posture of the woman
Congratulations, et voilà!
