(My Trip to Chile - A surprising Country - September 2005 - #11)

CASTRO - The small city of CASTRO is the Capital City of the Island of CHILOÉ (Isla de Chiloé). I took a one day tour to the Island and enjoyed a lot. This photo was taken in the harbor, right in front of the restaurant where I tasted the strange but delicious "CURANTO", a chilean typical dish.

CASTRO - A cidadezinha de CASTRO é a capital da Ilha de CHILOÉ. Fiz uma excursão de um dia inteiro àquela Ilha e gostei bastante. Esta foto foi tirada no porto, bem em frente ao restaurante onde provei o estranho, mas delicioso "CURANTO", um prato típico chileno.

Good composition with some great colors, but it does seem a bit tinier than allowed in TE... there seems to be some pixelisation or overexposure on the white areas.
I'd love to have some more map information :)

Nice warm shot associating with holidays... Good colours, I like especially texture and colours of the water in the foreground, in the front of boats... interesting work.

bela cena marinha. Barcos de pesca são sempre fotogênicos. Aquela encosta ao fundo é a mesma que aparece em uma das minhas fotos, cobertas de flores amarelas, aqui elas ainda estavam no verde. Não teria coragem de comer o tal curanto, sou bem conservador com comidas. Vc também teve sorte com uma dia de sol em chiloé. Aqui a luz está boa

Glowing capture of these lovely traditional fishing vessels seen reflecting strikingly in the multi colored foreground water. Beautiful colors to the sea and sky with lovely hilly background to this fine coastal shot.

Esta foto merecia um tamanho maior, para se verem melhor os detalhes dos barcos.
Mas mesmo assim está muito atraente, com bonitas cores e luminosidade.
