There are two places when somebody can realize the earth is round:one is the sea, the other is the desert...
I don't know why the water in the salt desert near Atacama is somewhere red...

Ciao Chiara,
affascinanti questi paesaggi andini, penso sia stata una incredibile esperienza, per la prossima estate ho in progetto la Bolivia.
Colore rosso intenso della pozza, dato da alghe e microorganismi come il plancton ... Queste acque ricche di minerali sono anche la spiegazione del colore rosso dei piumaggi dei fenicotteri 'flamingo' che occupano questi altipiani.

Hello Chiara,
A strange environment well captured with these crusts and the orange water colour. I don't think you see the curvature of the earth but just the distortion of your lens. Even in this wide landscape the earth would be very small if you could capture its round form!
