CHILE: Torres del Paine National Park

The National Park Torres del Paine is, without doubt, one of the most spectacular national parks in the country. A world biosphere reserve (declared Biosphere Reserve by the UNESCO in 1978), it has a huge variety of plant and animal species which, with its incredibly beautiful setting has made it an almost unequalled destination for hikers and backpackers, ecology-lovers and adventure sportsmen alike. Snow-capped mountain peaks, cascading rivers and waterfalls, glaciers and mirrored lakes: in all respects Torres del Paine national park deserves its reputation.

Il Torres del Paine National Park è sicuramente il più bel parco nazionale del sud America. Prende il nome dalle Torri del Paine che sono maestose montagne di granito alte più di 2000 che si innalzano sulla steppa della Patagonia.
Ogni angolo di questo parco regala emozioni indimenticabili agli amanti della natura e non solo. Al suo interno ci sono ripide cascate, laghi di color turchese , ghiacciai perenni, fiumi scroscianti, una flora e uno fauna molto varia.

il tempo atmosferico di questa foto rispecchia il tempo odierno in pianura: pessimo.
però qua la natura é meravigliosa ed interessante.
certo...un viaggio del genere costa fatica, adattamento e pure un pochetto di sofferenza, che tuttavia resta abbondantemente ripagata da immagini come queste

Me encanta los colores y el tema. Nos da una idea de la belleza de su país. Cuanto mayor sea el tamaño es muy clara y maravillosa.

Very interesting how the photo underlines the contrast bewteen an almost flat first plan, centered on the island, and the vertical uplifted massive.
