Photographer’s Note
The same day and the same situation as at last photo, so the note is also the same....
Another day in Torres del Paine National Park. The weather is changing day after day, hour after hour. After days of rain, snow and even (!) sun we have experienced this great day with my favorite clouds on the sky above the Torres del Paine peaks.
As masses of air move, they reach obstacles, like mountains, at some point. They get turbulanced and with an upward movement of air, altocumulus lenticularis clouds arise. Position of clouds like this often depends on the wind direction (they arise in the same places). I was working in Antarctica as a meteorologist and I was watching some of this clouds, and looking if they were in the same positions.

Hello Piotr! This is the way I love it, a huge huge sky and just a little left showing where we might are. The clouds are simply amazing, and I just had a look at the other one ... I will certainly let a word on that one too after this one :) You have an interesting job, and I am involved a little bit since I have a private pilot in the house, and since we do visual flights (no in the clouds flying), weather is - besides enough fuel - the main topic. This is really something, excellent. Barbara.

Bonjour Piotr,
Cette photo est vraiment magnifique, avec des couleurs soutenues qui mettent bien en valeur ces lenticulaires.
Le vent d'altitude devait être assez puissant pour nous donner des nuages de la sorte.
Merci pour cette prise de vue magnifique

Hello Piotr.
An incredible sky above those very sharply defined mountains. I like the silhouetted lower part of the photo too, giving us the contrast. The sky and the cloud formations are extraordinary. Now I must go to see the previous shot.

Wonderful and impressive clouds! Looks like the Earth is rotating really fast, or as I've drunk too much! As I use to say, those who doesn't drink can't see the world spinning! hehehe

Hello Piotr! Decisive moment is aptly chosen, I would be lucky to see clouds like this once in my life. The details are very sharp in the distance mountains but of course the star of this shot is the unusual shape of the clouds.
