Woman Dressed
--------------
Resubmit an artwork of the great sculptor Fernando Botero, exposed today in the traditional Berrío Park in the city of Medellin, and called by the artist: Dressed Women.

I was pleased much contrast, under a sky opaque and Escaz light of the statue off the facade after issuing the Palace of Culture, which takes in some earlier it had already submitted

In this central place and then being displayed by some seasons in cities like Paris, New York, Madrid, including 23 sculptures came to stay forever in Medellin.

Periodically, the Museum of Antioquia, which is located a few steps, makes them work of conservation, according to the instructions given by the teacher Botero.

Dressed Woman is one of the titles of the monumental works, all of them cast in bronze workshops in traditional Pietra Santa, Italy.

It is certainly a new standard of Medellin and one of the main attractions of the city to visitors and foreign nationals.

At 7 thousand square meters is displayed on a permanent basis and in the public arena, a representative sample of the work of someone who is considered one of the most important contemporary artists living in the world.

As we said initially, are 23 monumental sculptures by Fernando Botero, who together with the impact generated by this urban space, opened in 2002, make the Plaza Botero destination is cultural, educational and tourism itself.

Funnily enough when you are making, I realized the person who faces through the window, as wanting to remain for posterity in a simple as it takes.

I hope all is taste

John

I looked back to see if this was the same artist as 'Man on Horseback', I thought it must be. Another interesting and beautiful work of art. This looks very nice in front of the beautiful building and I like the guy at the window :) Nice lighting. TFS and have a happy day!

Hello John,
nice the shot of this statue with the dressed so hard woman.I like the Palace of Culture as background, with the man in the window that seems as a dot in front of her.I like the management of the light and the vivid colors too.Well done.

Have a nice weekend,Danos

Greetings from Romania John,
Simple, yet appropriate POV for this admirable work of art. The guy in the window is actually adding some dynamic to the photo. Well done.

Hi John, what a funny sculpture! I know Botero as a great peinturist but i dont tought that he was a great sculpturist too! The faces are always the same, thanks to show us so perfectly this very interesting beauty, have a nice weekend,Luciano

Hola John,

Sergio

Hola John,

very interesting shot. First of all, I like the highlight/shadow management, specially on the statue and the fact you chose a wide dof which brings details of the baclground architecture. In my opinion the guy at the window works pretty fine and he doesn't disturb at all. Good Saludos,
Carlos

Splendid capture of this Botero's sculture, John. Beautiful light reflecting on the methalic surface enhancing the round shapes of her figure. The facade makes a nice background in spite of the similar brown tones and the man at the window is a funny bonus, making an interesting interplay bettween 'here' and 'there'.
Un abrazo,
ricardo

Hola John.
