"Manizales Night"

Manizales is the capital of the Department of Caldas.

It is a city in central western Colombia, located in the Central Cordillera, near the Ruiz Snowy Mountain. Call is part of the landscape and the region called the Golden Triangle, with a population of 420,000 inhabitants.

Part with Risaralda, Quindío, north of Valle and southwest of Antioquia called Coffee Axis.

Founded in 1849 by settlers of Antioquia, today is a city with great economic, industrial, cultural and tourism. Also stands out for its cultural activity that highlights its annual fair, the International Theater Festival and numerous shows and conventions.

Manizales city was ranked # 17 in the range of the best cities in South America.

It is called the City of Open Doors because of the hospitality with which welcomes its visitors. Also known as Manizales of the Soul by a pasodoble bullfighting that bears his name.

Also known as Capital of the World Café not only for its heavy production of grain, but because it has important institutions and companies involved in the coffee sector.

This did take premiering my new Cannon camera, taken from the Gold Hill is seen in front is called San Cancio Hill.

Una toma preciosa y espectacular! Todas las lucecitas intentando ser las protagonistas pero sin darse cuenta que todas y cada una de ellas hacen un conjunto magnífico, que egoístas son :-) me gusta que le hayas dejado mucho espacio en la parte superior hace que la foto sea mas profunda y larga.
Charo a puesto una foto parecida de Barcelona igual te apetece echarle un vistazo.

nao parece ser uma cidade muito pequena. Seria interessante conhece-la... Um bem encontrado ponto de vista e muito boa exposiçao das luzes. O enquadramento com valorizaçao do ceu tambem me agrada. Bela imagem!

The golden lights are just spectacular John. I liked splendid star effects on bulbs. The darkness of night increase it's contrasts with yellow. Excellent capture without any loss, congratulations. Have a nice new week.

You did a wonderful job capturing the soft warm colors of the city lights. I like the short dominant leading lines defining the streets and some of the larger buildings. It is an excellent night shot. Thank you for the good note too.

Recuerdo que hacen muchos anos se celebraba en Manizales el concurso de Miss Café, muy conocido en mi país, no se si aun se celebra, ya no se menciona por aquí pero muchas de nuestras jóvenes concursaron y algunas ganaron el concurso.
Una gran foto nocturna captada desde un alto POV que nos permite una vista panorámica de la ciudad. Buena iluminacion.

this view looks as if the photo was taken from an airplane! this is the view which we see when the plane is taking off or landing at night... very spectacular sight! I like the warm colour gamma, the city full of golden lights and life :)
By the way, what are those three white dots in the sky? is it an airplane approaching?
