A la Guajira, en ben mitj del desert colombià, la part que toca al mar es força tranquila, i a la població de Manaure ho han aprofitat per fer unes salines. Aquí es veu la salina en la seva segona fase, amb el iode a les capes superiors.
These are the "salinas" of Manaure, when the desert ends, start the sea. A very calm sea that people of there use to extract salt and "iode". In the photo, the process is just ready to extract de iode.

Interesting note and intriguing sea colour. I wish there were more eye-catching objects in the photo, because IMO it the photo looks a bit empty. Nice colours, nonetheless.

I enjoyed looking through your gallery, and I like this one for its clear composition and the colors. It is particularly the emptiness that makes this shot so special.
