Photographer’s Note

View over the Cañon del rio Chicamocha somewhere around Aratoca, 60 km from Bucaramanga, Departamento Norte de Santander. Poor hitch-hiking conditions - and we reached there only by something like 4PM (and it was boiling hot there, believe me), providing we set off from Bucaramanga at 11 in the morning. But the canyon itself was worth the effort; we enjoyed the view immensely. There's also some kind of entertainment park on top of one of the mountains, but we decided not to spend money ($20 per person) and climbed nearby hilltops.
If you happen to be there, do not forget to carry headwear (which I didn't have - and by the end of the day my head was about to explode) and a lot of water.

Hello,
You have achieved a beautiful depth of fields. Every part of the view is sharp and nice to look at. I like also the composition with this slope in the foreground leading my eyes straight into the Cañon. Great soft coloured image.
