Hello friends TrekEarth.

Again I am in the city of Bucaramanga, capital of Santander Department.

And it is impossible for me to go through the front of this architectural monument and a catholic, very near the hotel where I am, without capturing its play of lights by night, which will unveil its grandeur and beauty.

In any previous release, and had given them to know the Cathedral of the Holy Family, and this time I make a frontal approach and anti - chopped, so that describe the elements in their colorful splendor. I hope to have achieved this goal and that is the complete satisfaction of all.

I know beforehand that I find it difficult to develop kind of night shots, especially when the blue hour has passed and there is a little less lighting, even taking into account that with a compact camera, as we have, not aid enough.

In the WS takes another deputy, with the intermediate light of a lamp, neon and of which I tried to make a different composition.

I like this majestic view; good shot from this POV! Interesting combination of colours: bright orange, white, bluish-white and reddish against the dark sky...
the colous of the dark night! Excellent!
Ths WS variant is also interesting... at least, it's unusual!

Hola amigo John,
como ya sabes, me gusta el efecto de los distintos tonos y temperaturas de la iluminación sobre la catedral, que creo que le dan aún más elegancia a su ya de por sí bella arquitectura.
El cielo tan negro aumenta el contraste cromático, y aunque no sea una "hora azul" es una bella foto, muy atractiva y relajante.
El WS es bueno e interesante también, pero esta toma es más limpia y creo que es la elección correcta para tu post.

Il est superbe ce plan serré de ce bâtiment dans toute sa splendeur, les tons clair du haut de la cathédrale sur fond noir sont très valorisant pour un tel plan serré, ce cadrage capturé de face change des images habituelles par une version détaillée et dévoile une grande richesse de l‘architecture, l’éclairage ambré ou or est lui bien venu aussi pour rehaussé les couleurs de l’édifice figé à la black hour, la vue dans le WS et sa lampe au néon dans l'intervalle agrémente la première photo d’un bon complément sous un angle intéressant, bien amicalement
