PS: a comment for Arnulf who makes the point that he doesn't approve of 'displaying' children this way... what on earth is he talking about...this isn't a child porn site and this is a beautifully simple shot of a young girl laughing for the camera...I spend months every year photographing in Africa and there the children cry out to be photographed. What I am I meant to do? Hide my camera and let the 'lunatics' win? Sorry Arnulf, you're being over politicaly correct and if you visit my site or look at my shots you'll find many pictures such as this.

Excellent first post Gustavo...

What do I like about this picture?

1) The endearing subject; her smile, skin, posture, hair and hair tie
2) The vivid and clean colours
3) The angle of the black (door)frame to the left.

Now, about Arnulf's comment...it would be tragic to see gems like this dissapearing from TE due to comments like that. I agree with everything that David said...If innocence cannot be portrayed like this, the world would be a sad place to exist...
