Dear friends TrekEarth:

After exposing a number of deliveries on urban areas, again with my presence one of the issues that most pleases me explain: the landscape of my country.

Displayed moments of crisis, both economic and environmental, collapse of markets and strong climate change.

It was predicted famine in some regions of the earth, thawing at the poles and rising temperatures; disorder, chaos.

Still have time to creating awareness among our peoples, and to establish that in the future, this type of scenario will not be viewed only through images like this.

In Colombia we are still blessed with large tracts of land, rich for the various crops that are harvested here, but the heavy rains this year have caused flooding and overflowing of rivers, wiping out everything in its passage, hurting many people (usually farmers and citizens living in riparian areas).

Leaving the city of Cartago towards the municipality of Obando, I found this place.

Filled me with pride, so rich and preserved the crops of corn, but it caused me some drama, by the look of the tree, awash with lichens and parasitic set of menacing clouds in the background.

Start with it delivers a range of outlets devoted to showing the great food pantry that provides my country, through various scenarios like this farm. I hope it will be to the liking of everyone.

Well,anyways,looking at your photo I think you have learned a great deal about photography to produce such a good photo.
I`m looking at your photo and I can see the whole region; it is that descriptive.

J'adore ce genre de photos (bon ,je fais plus dans le colza que dans le blé!). La composition est très bonne et le ciel chargé est en accord avec ta note...bien pessimiste quand même!

Very good note and explanation. About the picture I like the image of cornfields in foreground.The climate is making disorders in my country too, mainly in the southeast.

Hola John,

bem executada composição. A velha árvore parece reger os pés de milho. Legal eles terem a preservado. É uma cena rural que revela o quanto a terra de seu país é fértil. O céu carregado ajudar a dramatizar ainda mais a cena. Belo registro e nota!

el cielo con las nubes amenazantes está precioso, y compone un telón de fondo muy bello y elegante donde se destacan el árbol solitario y el maizal, creando una estampa natural, campestre y con un buen tono bucólico y tranquilizante.
La sencillez de los elementos y su grafismo, trabajan muy bien en la composición y le dan mucha fuerza visual.

En efecto, tu imagen da una fuerte impresión que Colombia se proporcionan muy bien en las tierras fértiles. Por otra parte, es una imagen naturalmente neta y coloreada bajo un cielo soberbiamente capturado. El árbol es un elemento importante de la fotografía que atrae la mirada. Muy bien y bonito trabajo.

No hay dudas que este es tu punto fuerte, las fotos de los campos de Colombia y cada uno de ellos son magníficos.
El POV, los colores y detalles, la presencia del árbol solitario sobre la siembra de maíz y finalmente ese cielo impresionante hacen todos juntos una excelente composición. Felicitaciones.

Hello John.
You are a master of this kind of photo. The corn looks so full of life in the sunshine. The tree is very well placed in the composition, and you have a very well defined sky full of moody clouds. I like the gentle slope of the ground and the distant blue mountains. It has a great sense of space. Once again you have made a superb photo of such a simple scene.

This is a gorgeous landscape and your note is excellent. There are so many good things to say here. The sky is alive with those beautiful clouds. There is a strong sense of distance and depth looking out to the mountains. In the foreground the texture and colors of the corn plants is realistic and details very clear. You have placed the tree in just the right place in the composition. Your work is impressive. My compliments to you!

The view is superb!
Colors are very natural and wonderful, with the perfect brightness all over the image!
Sharpness is also excellent with the "feeling" of all the textures on all types of vegetation! The composition is also outstanding where you put all the interesting elements in places they all look magnificently nice! I specially like the lonely tree, the clouds in the bg and, yes, the pattern of the cornfield that does very good to the image!
