------------------
Barichara, like good wine, is a village that retains its essence and its charms improvement over time.

For its streets of stone, its colonial style, their crafts, the warmth of its people and especially this matchless red and yellow, evoking those sunsets melancholic, Barichara was described as "the most beautiful town in Colombia" in May 1,975, 1,978 and is declared a National Monument. An award that applauds each of the visitors who manage to get lost in a world full of historic and cultural attractions.

Its inhabitants are known as patiamarillos, basa and its economy is in agriculture, trade, crafts and cultural tourism.

The bright sun that is poured from the mountains, leaves see the beautiful landscape in which strangers are immersed themselves and to enjoy the serenity of its ambience with a pleasant climate of 22 degrees centigrade.

The stone quarrying is operated and marketed since ancient times; clear example of its use are the houses, streets, temples and even religious cemetery. Those places are produced by the flintstones picapedreros or, as he is known for stone carvers, actors Festival in the size stone that takes place every two years and around which to gather with their chisels tilling their wonderful works, carvers local, national and international.

Barichara is also recognized by the colorful particular its construction. A warm color under discussion between the red and yellow burned.

In the previous delivery, said that Barichara also is known for its steep streets and downstream, developed entirely in stone since the days of colonization. This image is taken from the top of a central street, ending at one of its tourist sites: the chapel of Santa Barbara.

Taking advantage of the chapel was entirely alone, since the remodeling process to being subjected, I wanted to take this opportunity to use the arc of the entrance as a framework, and further look into the street that leads us to decrease the town .

Unfortunately the clouds I worked a lot, given that encounter zones 'burned' by the intense lighting that was presented at that time, but I think it's a good exposure, despite everything.

Darling,

John

Hi,John,
A lovely deep look through the thick stony entrance.
Thus the play of light and shadow is taken advantage of.
Very neat image and good depth.

Valerka:)

Strong frame POV,Clearly subject in middle ground,Beautiful background and highly dept,It's better for focal point if had a clearly background,IMHO.Good work anyway,TFS.

Hi John,

I appreciate the natural border in the doorway that you have here. Had it been me, I might have put the cross dead centre, but then you would not have seen the road in the background which for me is an important part of the shot, so good choice there. I'm not concerned about the sky - it works for the scene - thanks for sharing. Well done.

Graeme

Hello John,
Very pretty composition. The turquoise sky has a not very usual color, but may be that it is its color of the moment. A good work accompanied by an interesting note.
Have a nice day

Hello John!
Another beautiful image of this interesting city in your Country!
I like the framing, the composition with the cross right on the top end of that steep street, with all the houses with the red roofs, contrasting with the green vegetation around!
Great picture!
TFS - Congratulations!
Cheers,
Neyvan

Oi, John.
