Day 4 in Peru, after 3 days of getting slightly used to the altitude it was finally time to depart on our 2 weeks trek in the Andes. We left Cusco at 4AM for a 4hours dizzyingly up & down winding bus ride in the Abancay region, and let the adventure begin!
This young peruvian was going back up the dusty and cactus-lined trail, our guide asked her to check back in the village to make sure we did not forget personal effects.

Bonjour Bruno

Hi Bruno,
Good capture of daily life in Peru, shots like this remind me that there are a lot of differences in the way we all live. Life there looks tough. Your composition works well, having the horse and rider at the bottom of the frame clearly shows she is riding up-hill, and the far off hills in the background give depth and a sense of the geography of the country. Really enjoy looking at this shot, there is a lot of good detail.
Cheers
Peter
