Day 4 in Peru, first day of our long trek andean Inca Trails. A long day's walk to get down the Rio Apurimac valley with a stunning view in the dusty trails of the desertic northern-flanks of the Andes. We started from Cachora at 3000m, and were looking at the Apurimac river valley floor 1km lower, and the snowy mountaintops 3.5km higher on the other side.
See also the larger version of the panorama where our trail can be seen on the left, skimming the slope towards Choquequirao, that'll take 2 days to reach.

Hi Bruno,

The large post is wonderful ... tremendous scale and stark vastness .. I really like the way light moves to dark across the image. very nice. take care, John

Bonsoir Bruno
Jean-Pierre

Hi Bruno,
Brilliant panorama, simply stunning landscape. I hope the crease across the mountain on camera left isn't the road you've been travelling on. Very scary.
Beautiful shot, I never knew Peru could look this good.
Cheers
Peter

Hey again Bruno!
Great panorama, and the large version is even better. I'm envious, this looks like a dream experience all this trekking around Peru you've done! In this shot, the inclusion of the man and some road is nice, it sets the scene for where you are.
I would love to have seen a little more of what's below in this shot, it might have been better to stitch portrait view shots rather than landscape view shots, then we could have seen more of the scale of the place. Cheers for showing
Best regards
Lee
