The beginning of the walk into the Colca Canyon, during which my camera collected half the dust in Peru (the other half was in my hair, my eyes, my pants...).
Great walk, though, into the deepest canyon in the world. Yes, apparently it really is, although I think that's helped by the 4000 m mountains next to it, when you measure from the top...
I believe that's the village of Cabanaconde in the left - we came back to that a few days later.
We were both pretty genki at this point, even though we had just done the Inca Trail the week before. Stuck in Arequipa by strike action we took the opportunity to see a bit more of this awesome country.

Hi Adam

A strong scenic shot of some very rough looking terrain.

Curious about the exposure time, why so long. Maybe it would have been better if the other person had looked sharp, if you had a shorter exposure time.
