Walking down the streets next to Lima's main square I saw some people directing traffic. I got curious to know why they were wearing white make-up, I thought it may be to protect their skin against pollution or
somehting like that so I asked them.... and they didnt answer.

At least not with words, with signals. It turns out that the municipality is using mimes to make cars stop for pedestrians plus promoting good citizenship. I don't know if they are paid or not. But it is kind of
amusing seeing them in the middle of the road waving the cars to stop and in the meantime performing a mime act as well as pointing at the garbage that
people throw in the streets.

Never seen anything like this before!!
