Bad boys, bad boys, what you gonna do,
what you gonna do when they come for you

These scary looking guys were actually quite nice. I made a sign to them from accross the street, if I could take a photo and they smiled. They were
standing right outside the doorway going into an old colonial mansion fallen into disrepair which you can see in the workshop.

Since the middle and upper class has fled central Lima, many of the old mansions have been taken over by squatters and beautiful houses are being
run to the ground. There is no easy remedy in sight, specially while the middle class prefers to live in american-style suburbs than to live in the
old center. As I suggested in an earlier photo, maybe if young professionals were given incentives to move out of their parents homes and they settled in a central area that could be. Another thing would be if a part of the old center became a Gay neighborhood, kind of a Marais or Chueca for Peru, but peruvian society is far far away from that.
