The ruins of Machu Picchu, rediscovered in 1911 by Yale archaeologist Hiram Bingham, are one of the most beautiful and enigmatic ancient sites in the world.

I modified the picture with Photoshop, according with the suggestions from sne011 and Tayon, from previous workshop.

Carlos, I am not sure why this one has gone uncritiqued but it is certainly better than many other shots that were. I like the angle and colors of your photo but I also think you might benifit from a circular polarizer which would add some contrast to the shot and give better seperation between all the layers of the buildings. Overall a very nice capture.
