Hi Ertugrul,

sometimes I wonder why some beautiful shots are still unrated. This is one. I like a lot the composition with the boat, while the sky is simply fantastic!

A fantastic setting, with an extraordinary and very beautiful sky, and a few decorative very aesthetic clouds that contrast with the dark water of the river. The prow of the boat pointing at the horizon it adds a good dynamic effect and a very elegant perspective.
It is a very fine and attractive composition at sight.

Great POV from inside the boat looking up at the fantastic sky with the puffy clouds reflecting strikingly in the deep blue waters of the calm river. The dramatic clouds pass beautifully into the distant horizon.

Hello Ertugrul,
this is a lovely shot of the river, and very pleasant to look at during our winter. The picturemaker to me is the sky, with those lovely cumulus clouds against the deep blue sky.
Also the original orientation of the boat is good to "wake up" the viewer and make him/her look one more time at this one.
A lot of fine detail and sharp from nearby to the distant land.

Hello Ertugrul -

This could be a very boring image if you had not used the widest lens available. Buy using the 10mm lens you have been able to capture the great expanse of this river and jungle environment. Using you boat as a leading line and not centering the horizon all work to make this a very spectacular and dramatic image. All of the technicals seem to be spot on on, but I think the horizon is just a tad out of level - not enough to cause any significant problem with the image. Well seen and presented.

A wonderful, very deep shot with rich colours and wonderful light. I'm glad your exposure did not allow the highlights to get over-exposed. The view along the prow of the boat is impressive and the blue paint makes a good parallel to the sky. Wonderful shot.

Hi Ertugrul,

Reminds me of the longboats in Thailand, I have taken shots with a similar perspective. The dual effect of the calm water and patterned sky is excellent; I don't think a more dramatic sky is possible, at least at this time of day when the sun is high in the sky. The only concern of mine is that there appears to be a very slight tilt in the photo towards the left, but this might just be the curvature of the riverbank from this low perspective/POV. Well done, it looks terrific.
