Photographer’s Note

These boats are waiting for tourist taken to the waterfalls of the Canaima Rive. A nice place for children to play.

The Canaima National Park which is spread over 3 million ha in south-eastern Venezuela along the border between Guyana and Brazil. Roughly 65% of the park is covered by table mountain (tepui) formations. The tepuis constitute a unique biogeological entity and are of great geological interest.

Wonderful repetition & horizontal layering of the canoes. Perhaps I would boost saturation slightly? The small kid adds scale & interest. Tfs!

Hi Achim,

Very nice beach and lovely combination between beach and green forest in background, certainly the boats are a good attraction for the picture, but the real eye catcher are the small boy this look to are playfellow, nice composition too! Thanks for sharing.

Nicely composed scene with the ropes to the boats leading us in. I love the little boy and particularly the hand of his companion inside the boat.
