Photographer’s Note
The Caura River is a tributary of the Orinoco River, located in Bolívar State in Venezuela. The river is inhabited by both the Ye'kuana and Sanema indigenous groups.
Length of the Caura River is about 723 km. The Caura is navigable up to Para Falls (Salto Pará), an impressive waterfall formed by two branches of the river with an island in the middle. I'll post a picture of these impressive falls in some days. Both branches have some rapids and join in one of the most remarkable waterfalls in the Orinoco basin, not because of its height, but because of the impressive flow of water. The Caura is a Blackwater river, like the Caroní, the Ventuari River and the upper Orinoco.
A few meters down of the Pará Falls is El Playón, a river beach that is the home of one ye'kuana tribe. This is a picture of this lovely beach at sunrise. You can see the typical tropical forest vegetation. Life is absolutely exuberant in this part of the world. In my picture you can see a tree that has grown with its roots under the water. Nature is wonderful, don't you think so?
I hope you like the picture
Best Regards
Víctor

Nature is wonderful and so is this picture. You have made this beach look quite inviting. You have great perspective and have properly set this most interesting tree in context. You make me want to visit this place. Well done!

Hola Victor,
¿Eres bien recibido?.
A punto de irte supongo, feliz, feliz, feliz viaje.
Un abrazo,
Mirari

Hello Victor,
beautiful landscape! Excellent composition which is very well balanced by the tree on the left and part of the FG tree and a line of green trees in the BG, on the right.
I like the warm colour gamma... and the cloudy sky... the beach looks very inviting!
best regards,
Elena

Olá Victor,
bem interessante mesmo essa foto da árvore dentro do rio assim, e gostei do tratamento aplicado, dando essa coloração amarela à imagem.
Parabéns e Abraço
