Photographer’s Note
Photographing the ‘Things’…
The ultimate sign of total frustration with photographing the people.
When you are shy and you afraid of looking onto the human face through the lens of your camera...
When you have lost your zest for human contact, when you draw back in fear on human sweat and bad breath - there we go…
Photographing ‘The Things’…
I was sitting at the next table in the outdoor restaurant, when I saw that ‘thing’in her hand…
You folks know how eager I am to snap ‘the thing’ things…
This was something… Total fascination of the things...
Fully automatic, digital Kodak in water proof, shiny, plastic housing, ready for underwater photography down to 50 meters deep.
Woah...
Right here, in front of my face! At the next table…! Few thousand meters above (!!!) the sea level… On the top of the Andean Mountains… In the beautiful city of Colonial Trovar in Venezuela… I see the deep diving, water proof camera !!!
I couldn’t resist… I had to take the picture of that gorgeous thing there…
I’ll come back to post some people’s photos – soon…
In the meantime… Enjoy the ‘things’ photography, folks…
………………………
Anything to do this weekend…?
Go around and do the hunting of ‘the thing’ things…

Excerpts from previous critiques:
Darn! Those pretty girls of yours keep in spoiling your attempts at doing photography! It is surely your karma!!!
Maybe I'll do some shootings next week…
Darn! Keep in being troublesome! :)))))
Flat composition, very weak by the comparison with the others ( no vulgarism intended).
Not bad framing… Only from Canon
Very thin…
It's true, a cute small digital camera, (for underwater and therefore very useful high in the Andean mountains..)
How come I didn't pay attention to this picture before…

Hello George,
you did the right thing: captured all that could be captured about it! the girl, the mood, the camera. Excellent POV, very smartly placed accent on both the girl's face (and her smile) and this simple camera.
The only disturbing (a little) thing in the BG is (to me) that dark spot (even though it is blurred).
But what I like most of all about this photo is its "light" air.
Good luck!

Hello George,
Have to agree with the above comment, don't like the blurred bloke in the background, think it takes away from the very fine shot you have captured. The skin tones against the white are superb. A little photoshop for the perfect image, but I know you like to show it as it was.
(Isn't she happy taking a snap, yes, smiling laughing enjoying life, perhaps she was using up the last of the film in the water proof camera?)

O tak, rzeczy...
Rzeczy są wielkie, niepowtarzalne.
Trzeba je pokazywać szeroiemu światu, nikt ich nie widuje codziennie.
Co innego ludzie.
To pospólstwo. Nic ciekawego.
Ohyda.
Ten Kodak!!
To jest to.

Yeah, this image is airy, like somebody here said. Very different from your harsh usual fare. And I like this style as well, very much actually. It matches her beautiful smile. Tight compo, as usual.
cheers,
Cristian

Hola George, I ratify myself in my previous comment,
I like this photo for the expression of
the girl and especially for
the contrast and the good definition.
Un abrazo y hasta pronto.
