Curious Squid Photo

Photographer’s Note

While snorkling in Caracasbay (Curacao, one of the Dutch Antilles Islands near Venuzuelea) I encountered a group of six squids.
They were very curious and followed me for some time flashing all kinds of colours as if they wanted to communicate with me.

Hi Bert,

How could you resist for not opening up the image when you saw it in thumbnail size. The backlight the colour of the squid and everything else is so good. Excellent work here.

What fabulous colours and detail - it's not every day you get chatted up by a squid! I particularly like the sharpness of the squid and the fading background behind.

Excellent! I wish I will see such a colorful squid once by snorkelling! I love the color here and if the composition is not yet perfect, the details on the squid itself are very charming specially the transparency of its fins!

Hi Bert, I just stumbled across this and it really is an awesome shot.

I couldn't resist doing a quick Workshop on it using Dust and scratches just for a bit of fun but can't post the workshop. Never mind I was just mucking about and this really doesn't need any improvement anyway.
