Photographer’s Note
I was never faced with so much argumentation about politics (which I dislike) as during my stay in Venezuela.
Opponents to President Chávez call his policies "robolución", in liberal translation "Theft-o-lution".
I had just witnessed a pro-Chávez rally when I came across this scene, with the eternal Simón Bolívar slogan stating "Simón Bolivar devoted most of his life to fight the degradation of both human beings and their social and natural environment".
Without wanting to be political, this shot is quite self-speaking in terms of what I witnessed about the so called "revolution"... .
