Photographer’s Note

Lamayuru is one o the largets and also the one o the oldest monestary in Ladakh area. It is situated on Kargil- Leh highway approximately 80 Kms short o Leh at an altitude of more than 3500 meters above MSL. Approx. 150 lamas stay there all the time.
It has a very beautiful building and a good photographer (unlike me) can actually capture the magnificient beauty of the moon like land and the monestary fitted in between this landscape.

beautiful himalayan landscape, with the typical buildings against the mountains. Maybe it lacks a little bit of contrast, and there is a slight green dominance, which you can correct offline.

A beautiful scenery, it looks almost alien, yet very appealing. The photo is beautifully composed, has good depth to it, and shows a couple of interesting subjects. Shadows and light act frivolously and I like that. Fine stuff.
