just checking what's new in gallery and I find this beauty. :)
Wonderful reverse image with reality reflecting in water mirror and creating excellent composition of great colour contrast.
I specially like warm output of the capture...a golden appearance of the building on deep blue canvas.

Αργύρη καλημέρα,
κατ΄αρχάς να σε συγχαρώ για την εξαιρετική φωτογράφηση και την αντανάκλαση του μέρους αυτού του κτηρίου του Παπαστράτου,φαντάζομαι σε στάσιμα νερά.Βλέποντας όμως την αρχική φωτό στο link, δεν μπορώ να καταλάβω πως από τόσο ψηλά βρέθηκε η αντανάκαλση αυτή στον δρόμο εαν δεν κάνω λάθος και με τέτοια καθαρότητα.Με απασχόλησε το θέμα αρκετή ώρα αλλά δεν έβγαλα κάποιο συμπέρασμα.Θέλω την βοήθειά σου.

Εύχομαι Καλά Χριστούγεννα και ευτυχισμένο το 2009,Δάνος

This is very beautiful reflection of the dome roof with its color tone and soft image. It is most interesting due to the stripes of blue and shadow and the footpath.

Σαν μια υπέροχη μαγική εικόνα η φωτογραφία σου φίλε Αργύρη, σε προκαλεί να προσπαθήσεις να την δεις από διαφορετικές γωνίες για να μπορέσεις να βγάλεις κάποιο συμπέρασμα για τον τρόπο που την τράβηξες.
Αλλά ποιός νοιάζεται;
Το αποτέλεσμα μετράει και αυτό είναι σίγουρα υπέροχο.

Γεια σου Βασιλη.Εισαι μαστορας στις αντανακλασεις και οχι μονο.Η μοναδικοτητα αυτης εγκειται στο οτι ο βυθος(τα χαλικια του) λογω της καθαροτητος του νερου εχει ενσωματωθει στο αντικειμενο που αντανακλαται και εχει δημιουργησει ενα απιστευτο αισθητικο αποτελεσμα,μια αισθηση παλαιοτητας ζυμωμενη με μοντερνα τεχνη.Τα συγχαρητηρια μου.

What a great reflection. I like the fact that you've rotated the pic by 180° (some reflections are just left upside down). The colors are vivid and the different "layers" (pavement, those two lines in the upper right corner) are perfectly incorporated.

Very beautiful reflection! I find the dome in the puddle even more beautiful. The yellow orangy and blue additional colors are magnificent.
And then, I like the small touch of humor with the butt of cigarette. Papastratos did not totally leave!

Hello Argiris,

This is fabulous! It is a matter of taste, and this is the way I probably would have posted it. In my new book, Leonardo's Universe, to be released on January 6 by National Geographic Books presents reflections on two occasions, in one the reflection is from the polished hood of a car and shows the dome of the Cathedral (Duomo) in Florence. In the other, it is the Giotto Tower (the bell tower of the Duomo). In both instances, they have presented the image in the inverted manner, the way we would see it.
