Photographer’s Note
This is a picture taken during the Sa Pa market, and shows the colorful dresses of three women that belong to the Flower Hmong group.
The terms Hmong and Mong refer to an Asian ethnic group in the mountainous regions of southeast Asia. Hmong people have their own terms for their subcultural divisions, "White Hmong", "Green" or "Blue Mong", "Black Hmong" or "Flower Hmong" (as shown in the picture) are examples of these different groups of people.
The mainly difference, at least for the traveller, is their own dresses, that change depending on the group. As you can see, the vivid colours are typical of the dresses of the Flower Hmong group.
I hope you like my picture
Best Regards and Happy New Year!!!

Hi Victor,
Excellent crop to focus on the colourful patterns of these shoppers. Showing more of them would only distract. I'm a little bit intrigued by the very un-minority-like bag that that one lady is carrying.

Hi Victor,
An interesting composition, the colours and patterns of these women's costumes are well captured.

Hola Victor,
Y esta también es otra buena forma de llenar la foto de detalles y colorido. Bonitas vestimentas.
Un abrazo,
Mirari
