How to carry the goats Photo

Photographer’s Note

Cog Ly, a small place where you can visit the weekly market. The man is just thinking how to carry the six goats in his motorcycle. After more than one hour, he achieved to fit all the goats in the basket, and also on the motorcycle. It's incredible how they are able to carry the most unbelievable stuff, animals, food, on a bicycle or a motorcycle. I made the photograph just looking the face of the man thinking how to do it.
The markets in the different small places near Lao Cai in the north of Viêt Nam are very interesting and it's a must. In fact, whenever I travel around the different countries I'll never forget to visit a market. It's the real life of the country.

This is an excellent shot with the man planning his day ahead. I like his green helmet which is of a type yet very common in SE Asia. I also would like to see a picture of the final set up. It would be very interesting to see how the man managed the “cargo”.

Roser,
Among some of the things that is sometimes hard to witness, are how animal are being carry around. It is heart breaking to watch, but I guess that is life as it always has been for them. I have even myself when I was young has to take chicken life, that is something I can't do now, but when you live there that is your liveliness, you just do it. Excellent daily life image. Not the kind that make you feel good, but it make you feel something.
