Great picture. I particularly like how you can see the sunrays going across the frozen river thanks to shade of the bushes and trees. You've really chosen the perfect angle from which to take this picture. Contrast levels are good with even the darker areas being illuminated well enough to make out all the details.

what a great shot, Eino, the rays of light are simply divine, and I like a lot how you placed them as strong diagonal lines, it always strengthens the composition. superb light management, I imagine it was tricky with the sun almost directly in the camera, but you have enough details in the shadows without overexposing highlights. excellent work, my compliments.

Hello Eino,
very curious effect of the wide angle lens: the shadows are not parallel but directed to one central point as if the land would be enlighted by a huge lamp instead of the sun. Well seen and skilfully done!

Sorry for my lately recognize of your fantastic photo. Wow! The curve of Koylio River helped a lot with its flat, snowy bed but shadows through frozen vegetations on snowy bed are just spectacular. You perfectly build an enviable point of view. Great clarity and sharpness in natural colors. Congratulations.
