Photographer’s Note
This is my first try in taking a slow shutter waterfall pic..which i had seen somany times in the calendars...
This was taken while coming back from Sandakphu..on the trail from Sirikhola to Rimbick where we have 4 or 5 of such small water falls. I was not varrying a tripod so had to place the cam on a rock and shoot this one.
My first try ....I really hope my friends in TE like this..!!!
Enjoy..!!!

Hi Indro,
Nice experiment indeed. But I'm not fully satisfied with the outcome here. According to me, you were bit too far away, that's why the milky or dreamy effect of the waterfall is not that eye catching to me. Had you been bit closer to the subject, more vivid and prominent the effect would have been. Look at the overall frame - to me, there are bit too many things other than the waterfall that catches my eyes. That's just my opinion. Hope you won't mind.
Greetings,

Dear Indro
Good use of slow shutter speed here...in fact I've never tried it before. A slight hint of blur on the rocks, perhaps because of the improvised tripod. I am fine with the framing here...a closer crop or zoom would have shorn the picture of the surroundings.

If u can do this with bare hands i wonder what wud u do with a tripod !
Considering this to be your 1st slow shutter (and that too without a tripod).. i kinda like your experiment.
The next time we're gonna meet lets go to esplanade and buy a tripod.
