Photographer’s Note

We bicycled to this beautiful town (I think it's Ston) along the Dalmatian coast. I wish I would've arrived a little sooner for better light. Guess I'll have to go back some day. :)

It was enough for a nice photo,great angle showing those stone houses and someone's vineyard.
I was there 16 years ago.

Hi Claudia
The whole scene is too contrasty for the camera so you end up with areas that are over or underexposed. In this case the camera made a good choice in the the FG is well exposed leaving the BG quite over exposed and the sunject is afterall the town. Nicely done.

I've been there and it's really beautiful... Your picture recreates the whole atmosphere of the place very well. The evening light is very mild and the colours - a delight for the eye.
