Desert island Photo

Photographer’s Note

First I want to apologize for my absence, unfortunatelly I can`t spend much time here, but I`m still watching you ;).
Islands again. Finally the Sun appeared, so I drove very fast to the sea shore and run 8 kms to visit this part of the beach. The sea is about 100 meters left - there is one of the widest part of the beach I`ve seen. Of course in balance there is almost no beach few kms west from this place. We can see here the process of growing the country ;), thanks to grass and sea current. I love how the mini islands stand up from the flooded parts of sand, although this day there was little amount of water, so some islands stopped to be them ;).

this framing in thirds is very adapted for the capture of this simple and beautiful winter scenery of flooded dunes, in which the water plays a very important graphic role in a very elegant composition, very attractive at sight. I love its light and its beautiful colours.

It is a very unusual kind of landscape with the tiny islands. You have composed it well from a low POV. I love the details of the reflection top mid-left and the long shadow of the foreground grassy island. Well done

Hello there, something tells me that there's almost ice in these flooded parts. Beautiful picture of pure Nature from your wild beach. We could imagine how it would look like if these islands would have the size of real islands in the sea...I'm enjoying that beach at right with strange giant trees behind...

that's beautiful: calm, soft, sensitive, breathes fresh air; nice light, natural, restful colors.
I like the depth of the image; there is a very thin dark blue line at the horizon, on the left hand side - if that's the sea then I would like to have more of it.. in a following picture :).

Podoba mi siê to ujêcie z wysepkami i wod± na pierwszym planie, aczkolwiek tak po mojemu, to bym obciê³a z pó³ centymetra do³u, wyrzucaj±c przy okazji t± trawkê widoczn± w na dole z lewej strony ;). £adne s± tu kolory ciep³e kolory piachu i traw oraz kontrast z zimnym kolorem nieba oraz ¶wiat³o.

Witaj Heniu. Masz swietne plenery wokol siebie, ale moim zdaniem masz bardzo dobry warsztat i wyczucie. Fajne zdjecie, ale Vera

Hello Henryk,

Excellent image of the lonely beach on the Polish shore, augmented by a very good personal note. I remember, the beaches of Baltic in Poland are known for the amber washed ashore. Do you ever come across them, or are they somewhere else on the coast?

This post gives the very interesting and well illustrated information about natural processes in the brink of the sea and the beach. Growth of islands is shown by the picturesque bunch of grass in the foreground. The quality of the shot is so good that even small details of the relief are visible pretty well. Perfectly good job!

The vegetation starting to grab hold on the sand is an interesting details!
Unless it is the other way around, which would be most unfortunate...
Anyway, it is a well composed and attractive image, showing fine details in this seaside landscape!
