Photographer’s Note

Two of the "trademarks" of Komotini in one picture. In the foreground the clocktower and in the background the minaret and the dome (koubes) of Yeni Cami ("New Mosque"). They were both, constructed in 1884, during the years of the Ottoman Empire, during Sultan Abdul Hamit's rule.

Pero, ¿qué haces de especial para manejar la luz de esta forma? ¿Cómo de importante es el posprocesado? (la pregunta es por querer aprender a hacer algo mínimamente parecido).

ΥΓ. Έχω ανεβάσει σχεδόν την ίδια σύνθεση, αλλά............! σιγά σιγά βελτιώνομαι.

Once again a magnificent evening shot. The sky looks particularly outstanding and I like how you've captured two edifices of the world's great religions in this picture (very even composition since both are off center). Perhaps I would have zoomed in a bit more or cropped out those cars on the left but that's not a big distraction.

Great blue hour shot; the mix of blue and orange is an exciting combination. The tower seems to overwhelm the minaret, though.

This is a great blue hour shot. Your composition is great showing both the clocktower and mosque in the same shot. The angle of the shot gives the scene a nice sense of depth and direction. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and DOF.

Φοβερή λάμψη έχει η φωτογραφία σου. Εκτός από τον απίθανο ουρανό και γενικά τα πολύ όμορφα χρώματα, είναι τόσο καθαρή που μοιάζει να κοιτάς από παράθυρο.

βαθύ το νόημα,
δεν έμεινα στο προφανές,
αυτό που με κέρδισε,είναι οι φιγούρες των αγροτικών αυτοκινήτων,
που δηλώνουν διαφορετική κατεύθυνση των θρησκευτικών ιδεολογιών,

Magnifica foto tomada en la hora azul de las imponentes arquitecturas teniendo en primer plano una excelente vista de las calles adornadas para navidad captada con muy buena iluminacion. Tu foco es tan perfecto que se puede ver muy bien las 11 y 26 minutos de la noche. Aquí en mi país en esta época ya a las 7pm esta la noche oscura.

A very beautiful effect of the wide-angle lens on this photograph, I like much the impression height. One hour blue managed very well in the colors and the lights. On the other hand according to data EXIF of your photograph, I think that the clock does not function any more !!! Beautiful work Hercules, cheer.

no la había visto. Esta foto en tu estilo tan personal y con el resultado habitual en la luz y los colores, me gusta, es buena y muy atractiva.
Tu encuadre unifica estos dos estilos de arquitectura diferentes, con el minarete y el campanario compitiendo en esbeltez y elegancia, con una iluminación magnífica.
Es una excelente toma a la hora azul, algo a lo que ya nos tienes acostumbrados.
