Photographer’s Note
Herronissos
Herronisos is the northern cape of Sifnos . A narrow band of land connects the cape with the main island. In the western side of the cape , the gulf of Herronisos is shaped. The entrance of the gulf provides physical protection and a safe anchorage, for the boats, during all the weathers. In Herronisos you can find a little graphic fishermen village, a few graphic taverns next to the sea and a beautiful sandy beach
Agios Georgios of Heronissos
A footpath starts from the place where the road, leading to Heronissos, ends. This path will point you the way to the small church of Agios Georgios. Nearby you can see the remains of an ancient tower. The view of Heronissos bay from the cape is an unforgettable experience.

Hi Aimilios,
Lovely photo of this church in evening light. Very good composition, leaving a lot of sky, to balance the composition and not make it look all to busy (it is not busy at all) and lovely orange tones on the facade of the church. I would crop the thingy in the lower left corner out. Will see you wednesday! Looking forward
Will see this scene soon aswell, Sifnos here we come!
