Meeting with Gandhi Photo

Photographer’s Note

I was walking along the ghats in Varanasi since the morning , feeling the old spirit of the city, and suddenly, here was this man, humbly dressed and concentrated on his task. I stared at him. I couldn't believe my eyes, as the resemblance with Gandhi was so striking. It had read a lot about Gandhi, and saw the 3 hours movie about his life. He means a lot to me, as a man of pure heart who achieved during his life incredible things which gave so much hope and brought many changes to people's lifes and to India. It was really a magic moment to feel as if he was alive. I felt that this could happen only in a city like Varanasi, where life and death blend together every day.

Salut Anne ..... une autre image intéressante de la vie quotidienne dans Varanasi ..... naturelle et spontanée avec ce coup de la tranquillité et le calme des gens qui n'attendent rien ... seulement vivre dans une paix.

I like a lot your low POV,the composition and the blue tones.Yes with these glasses and big ears he looks a bit like GANDHI.
