che bella immagine. mi piace il doppio contrasto:
- colori ombrello contro toni spenti della pavimentazione
- linee rette vs linee curve.

a volte basta un buon occhio ed un pizzico di fantasia per creare piacevoli composizioni

Hello Girogio,

Spot on this compo! Love the diagonal lines of the crossing / footpath, together with the round lines of the umbrella. And on the other side the grey tones in the background with that off-center punch of colour. Very nice!!

Troppo facile dire che l'omprello non andava tagliato. Il gioco di liinee è gradevolissimo, armonioso e ben ripreso. I colori poi rallegrano anche una giornata uggiosa. Come quella di oggi.

hanno detto tutto gli altri, per cui ti dico solo che questa foto e' da manuale della fotografia, capitolo "usare il colore come elemento compositivo".

una foto può essere bella per svariati motivi, perchè il bello è un concetto soggettivo. Questa foto è bella anche oggettivamente: colore, grafismo etc. etc.

A prescindere dal fatto che sono in ritardo e mi sa che hanno gia` detto tutto gli altri, l'occhio del fotografo di razza si vede in queste occasioni. Per adoperare un unico aggettivo, anzi facciamo due : semplicemente geniale! Dall'angolo alle simmetrie, dal taglio al colore e al contrasto. Complimenti, di cuore! Ti auguro un buon proseguimento di serata, io stacco, porto fuori l'amico quadrupede, e vado a vedermi un bel western alla tele.

prima o poi doveva succedere, me lo stavo aspettando, avendo assistito alla tua metamorfosi fotografica. Una metamorfosi che riguarda, per altro, solo alcuni aspetti tecnici, in quanto quello che hai dentro lo avevi anche prima. Mi riferisco all'artista che c'è in te, dote che uno si porta dietro dalla nascita. Una foto così non è mai casuale, viene dall'anima. Hai postato un vero capolavoro di arte fotografica stupendamente composto. I miei più sinceri complimenti, è un piacere ammirare i tuoi lavori.

Ciao Giorgio, là è tante fotografie nella vostra galleria che voglio per lasciare le osservazioni sopra, io pensa che funzioni dagli "Smiley"! In questa foto I realmente come come l'ombrello colourful contrappone con la via quasi monocromatica. La vostra POV è eccellente e lo sharp di immagine così. La parte di coltivazione dell'ombrello fuori rende questo una foto molto interessante. Ringraziamenti per la compartecipazione, Lisa.

Stavo cercando l'altro Giorgio (il Clementi) e mi sono imbattuto nelle tue splendide foto che non conoscevo. La bella Sicilia mi pare il tuo soggetto preferito.
In questa, il contrasto dei colori col pavimento grigiastro della scala mi piace particolarmente. Bella la composizione.
Tornerò a vederti presto

Hi Giorgio,
I saw this image a couple days ago but didn't have time to write on it. And today while surfing on gallery I came across again and didn't want to miss it again.
Umbrellas are really photographic objects and you caught here probably the most attractive one. It is full in rainbow colors and has a different geometry with sharp slices.
Texture of ground acts quite well as a background for this colorful umbrella.
Excellent high POV with amazing graphism and colors.

Ciao Giorgio, apprezzo il tuo lavoro ma non capisco il motivo per cui alcune foto belle vengono apprezzate giustamente ma altre non tanto belle vengono apprezzate lo stesso.
Ti chiedo di spiegarmi il motivo. Questa è una di quelle che reputo belle.

i must admit i was totaly impressed by your photos postes in time of my absense. They are all marvelous!
Looking at them i feel so small suddenly :)
This one of course stands out for its geomtrical character, a superb composition of lines and contrast, a BW vs colours, diagonals vs horizontals... It is simply fantastic and i have to express my greatest compliments.

Hi Giorgio,

A man could spend a lifetime, waiting for someone to pass by with such a terrific umbrella and never seeing it...

Not only did you catch this picture perfect umbrella within a perfect composition, but man, look at the rest of the set-up!!! Ideal combination of an outstanding point of view, graphic pavement and colourful element versus neutral background.

The diagonal framing is like the delicious frothy mousse on the best capuccino!... :-P)
