Photographer’s Note
I like Congo! Life is cruel, simple, funny and diverse. There are 430 tribes in one country. They don't need a reason to fight and don't need a reason to smile. When I went to this village of Kagaba, I thought it was a party. 'Just taking a break after collecting fire wood and kasaba', was the local's answer.
It never gets in my mind why the most simple people fight in the most terrific way. I asked a professor from Kampala University about the peculiarities of ethnic African tribes. His reply was, "Do you think it were only Adham and Eve came first on earth? No, it were probably Adham, Eve and an African came first on earth".
I love them.

Hello Ashfaq,
Great capture of action and feeling and a good reproduction of colours and details. It looks like a spontaneous scene. The compostion is a bit jumbled but it is a group scene so that's not unexpected.
Regards,
Chrystyna

Hi Ashfaq,
very interesting photo, showing every day life in CDR, the huge country, which is known recently especially for the civil war... I like the laughing faces of people. Good composition. Spontaneous, very emotional shot! Great note.
Well done. Best regards,
Andrzej
