Photographer’s Note
This was taken on a cold winter day just before New Years from Southbank, close to the Jubilee Bridge. It was one of my first proper photo trips out and about with my more photographically talented wife who was teaching me about silhouettes.
I am fairly new to this photography lark and certainly welcome critiques, especially in relation to the sun flare coming across the middle of the tower.

Hi CW, What a great photo, the timing is perfect with the setting sun just pocking it's way out, the detailed architecture out brilliant, showing one of London’s most famous sights in silhouette, TFS, kind regards Wilson.

Hi CW,
I like the sun flare across the tower. It gives a nice effect and an added focal point. Most of the time I would clone or fade it out but I like this one. Very good silhouettes and first post. Dramatic sky and nice positioning of the sun on the side of Big Ben. Welcome to TE. Regards. Latiff.
