A very typical moment for a certain category of young people, Grazyna. The noise, graininess and unsharpness are ideal for a shot like this, and the garbage on the ground adds unfortunate yet appropriate atmosphere. It's odd that the vignetting is only in two corners--do you know why? Anyway, a great shot. I'm surprised he doesn't react to you. Regards, Ken.

Hi Grazyna - yeah this one sums it all up - been that young man....seen that young man.......now got young men of my own - such a filmic image but beyond the dream of film into the dream of the streets we perceive as reality......the detritus of urban life is such an important player in this picture but the light and the social impact of the picture as a whole is what makes it for me.

Rewelacja. Temat, moment, sceneria - i nagle wiadomo, po co Pan Bóg stworzył światło, a człowiek wymyślił aparat. A nocą bardziej jeszcze oba te wynalazki rosną w cenie ;))

Cette photo très sobre dit beaucoup sur le vide et sur ce qui le remplit sans le combler. Pourtant, elle n'enfonce pas la personne, elle agit sur le "spectateur" comme un miroir indirect.

très belle image, vraiment j'aime beaucoup, la composition est parfaite avec ce personnage dans un coin, les cannettes dans l'autre et un arrière plan plus "géometrique" et plus froid avec cette porte, je me demande ce que sont les zones d'ombres en haut à gauche et en bas à droite (peut être as tu pris la photo à travers un grillage), elles donnent l'impression que l'on épie cette scène caché derrière un oeil de boeuf

Le fait est que, chère Grazyna, j'ai un mal fou à choisir quelle photo j'ai envie de critiquer dans ta galerie... Me faudrait être à temps plein sur TE. :)) Ce qui est loin d'être le cas, ayant bien d'autres chats à fouetter (merde! quelle expression quand on y pense!). Mais, sois assurée que je regarde chacune de tes photos publiées avec attention. Tu expérimentes, tu essaies, tu crées, et c'est bien.
Parmi celles que tu as publiées dernièrement, celle-ci me touche beaucoup. Elle rend tellement bien l'atmosphère (ou plutôt "une" atmosphère, et pas nécessairement celle du moment, la photographie est souvent trompeuse), qu'elle est palpable, presque en trois dimensions. Cette photo nous crie haut et fort à la figure. Une photo où on a l'impression que les issues sont illusoires. Oui, il y a bien des portes, mais derrière, c'est la clôture grillagée qui barre la voie à toute liberté... Il ne reste plus au maigre jeune homme qu'à fumer, en attendant on ne sait trop quoi. Godot, peut-être...
De l'excellent... Rien de moins.

a powerful compoition which makes an effective use of vertical lines. The tonal range, especially the absence of real pure white ones, matches the overall mood perfectly.

tu seras la dernière personne que je commente sur TE, je pars, lassé et déçu, découragé, triste aussi ...
J'avais mis cette photo dans mes favorites mais je n'avais jamais pris le temps de poser des mots dessous. Pour moi cette photo est un vrai bijou. Elle me fait penser à Ian Curtis, le chanteur de Joy Division, groupe post punk des années 80, sur lequel le grand photographe Anton Corbijn a réalisé un film dans un magnifique n&b dont il a le secret. Ces portraits de Miles Davis, Tom Waits, Nick Cave sont de toute beauté.
Il y a une ambiance que je ne pourrai décrire mais qui me donne des frissons. Preuve que cette photo est excellente. C'est du grand Art et j'aimerai beaucoup l'avoir accrochée à un de mes murs. Pour moi, c'est indéniablement ta meilleure ...
Mes mots sont à présent posés, ancrés à jamais, je peux donc refermer la porte ...
