Photographer’s Note

Some time ago I visited Toronto and I had the pleasure to stay in the Royal York Hotel (you can see the red neon light). I recommend it mainly for the fantastic location, but great style as well.

The aerial view of the hotel which you have here is of course taken form the CN tower which is (or at least was at that time) the highest free standing structure in the world.

That is another scan (from negative) of one of my older pictures.

Uklony i szacunek!! Choc zdjecie moze nie jest takiej jakosci, do jakiej przywyklem w Twoim wykonaniu (mowie o ostrosci i klarownosci) widok jest niesamowity. Doskonala perspektywa no i wysokosc od ktorej kreci sie w glowie. Az trudno uwierzyc, ze zdjecie ma 7 lat. Jak na scan to calkiem niezle. Swietna fota!!

I don't think I could afford the Royal York but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy this picture. ;o)
Fantastic sharpness and a great POV which makes me a bit dizzy... I enjoyed the same view from the CN Tower some years ago but during a rainy and foggy day - no chance to take good pictures...

bardzo ladnie zbudowany i przemyslony kadr "wielkiego miasta"
podobaja sie uchwycone kolory... i pomimo, ze ganeralnie preferuje wczesniejsza pore to tutaj bardzo ladnie wszystko zagralo..

Night shots are always impactant, but when they are taken from a high POV and show the city below, they become breathtaking as in this case.
